We believe what we wear
should be natural and comfortable
Sois-simple was created by 3 silk lovers : Yuhong, Marco and Celia. Our mission is to help you discover the most comfortable products, made of 100% natural silk. We are committed to offering the highest quality products that endure over time. We partner only responsible manufacturers and people who share same passion and values.
Mulberry silk is the highest quality silk available for textile. Its name and prestige come from the long-standing tradition in the making process. Local farmers grow Mulberry trees and harvest the leaves for silkworms to feed on, which makes all the difference.
The benefits of silk products.
1. Silk regulates temperature.
Silk helps the body retain heat in cold weather and expels the excess heat during a hot summer, helping you to stay in a natural temperature state.
2. Silk is hypoallergenic.
Composed of protein fibre and 18 amino acids, which are the same as the human body, silk is the perfect choice for protecting your sensitive skin away from irritation.
3. Silk is extremely light and soft.
The porous fibre structure of the silk makes it highly absorbent. However, it does not become damp and remains light, smooth and comfortable.
Our Partner Manufacturer.
It all goes back to Nanchong, a city in Southwest China, which has more than 3,000 years of lasting tradition of mulberry silk production, a place which is called 'the city of silk'.
Our partner manufacturer was established in the 1980s, benefiting from the local mid-humid climate, which is ideal for the raw material (silkworm and mulberry) breeding.
They are well-known, not only for their centuries-old outstanding techniques for silk products, but also for their dedication to preserve the traditional 'silk production culture' and their responsibility as an enterprise to bring benefits to the local community.
